Interfraternity Council
The purpose of the Saint Louis University Interfraternity Council is to encourage members to learn and grow through brotherhood and shared values.
Academics are an important part of the fraternity/sorority experience. Interfraternity Council members hold an average 3.41 GPA, which is higher than the all-male GPA on 博彩网址大全's campus.博彩网址大全 is the proud home of eight Interfraternity Council fraternities, which have the support of alumni in St. Louis and around the country. Our oldest chapter has been chartered at 博彩网址大全 since 1927, giving our fraternal community a long-standing history on campus. Each fraternity brings something unique to the community.
We welcome you to explore our organizations. Whether you are looking for involvement in an intramural team, a cheering section at Billiken athletic events, a study group at Pius Library, a service trip with Women's Safe House or a group to relax with on a Saturday night, you can find it in an IFC Fraternity.

Pi Kappa Alpha (PIKE) was founded in 1868 at the University of Virginia and has grown in membership to over 330,000 lifetime initiated and nearly 15,000 undergraduate members. PIKE recruits its members on four key characteristics: scholarship, leadership, drive and character. These characteristics encourage members to grow throughout their time in the fraternity and make a positively impact their campus/community. Prominent PIKEs include: Tim McGraw, Steve Prefontaine, Andrew Campion (former Nike CEO) and Gil Amelio (former Apple CEO). Interfraternity Council Recruitment Information
The Interfraternity Council is working diligently to plan a Fall Formal Recruitment experience for you. We are excited to welcome you to the Fraternity and Sorority Life community at Saint Louis University. Fall Recruitment is a great chance to meet all nine of our Interfraternity Council organizations.
If you have any questions during your summer orientation, stop by our table at the Resource Fair during 博彩网址大全 101. We would love to meet you and answer any questions you have!
IFC Fall 2024 Recruitment Dates
- PNM Orientation/Chapter Meet and Greet (Required): Sept. 1
- Brothers & BBQ: Sept. 2
- Open Events: Sept. 4-13
- Closed Events: Sept. 13-17
- Bid Day: Sept. 19
The Fall Recruitment registration page will open at 8 a.m. May 1 and close on Sept. 3 at 11:59 p.m. Participation costs $20, which covers the cost of IFC-sponsored events and food. This must be paid online through the formal registration platform, which is required to participate in the recruitment process. You can register for recruitment at the link below. Interfraternity Fall Recruitment Scholarship
Five needs-based scholarships will be offered to waive registration fees for any male-identifying student interested in participating in IFC Fall Formal Recruitment.
There are costs associated with fraternity and sorority life. You will learn more about the financial commitment during the recruitment process from initiated members. Our fraternity and sorority life community seeks to mitigate as many barriers as possible to increase accessibility. If you follow through with interfraternity recruitment and become initiated into a chapter, there are further scholarship opportunities available, such as the 博彩网址大全 IFC Scholarships and chapter-specific scholarships. It is important to note that winning a scholarship does not guarantee a bid from any chapter.
